Description
Pinnacle Junior gives growing feet the same support and cushioning as the adult PowerStep Pinnacle, in toddler and youth sizes. Its neutral arch shell and deep heel cradle help line up the foot and ankle, adding stability for active kids.
Two layers of cushioning keep it comfortable all day at school and at play, and it moves easily between sneakers and casual shoes.
Who It’s For
- Kids with flexible flat feet or feet that roll inward
- Children with heel, arch or leg discomfort after activity
- Active kids who need more support in sneakers
- Toddler sizes 11.5–13 and youth sizes 1–6
What It Helps With
Flat feet and mild to moderate pronation are common in growing children. PowerStep designed Pinnacle Junior to help relieve and prevent:
- Arch and heel pain
- Tired legs and ankles after activity
- Ankle, knee and hip discomfort linked to pronation
- Shin splints
- Achilles tendonitis
Persistent or severe foot pain should be checked by a podiatrist or physician. If you have diabetes, neuropathy or poor circulation, ask your doctor before using any orthotic insole.
Key Features
- Same support and cushioning as the adult Pinnacle, sized for kids
- Firm but flexible neutral arch shell and deep heel cradle

How to Choose Your Size
Sizes follow US toddler and youth shoe sizes. Take out the shoe’s factory insole and slide the Pinnacle Junior in, all the way back to the heel. Kids’ feet grow fast – check the fit every few months.
Care & Replacement
Spot clean with a mild detergent, do not submerge in water, and air dry. PowerStep advises that insoles typically last 6 months or longer depending on how often and how hard they are worn – replace them when the cushioning flattens or your discomfort returns.
Frequently Asked Questions
Pinnacle Junior or Pinnacle Junior 3/4?
The full-length Junior suits sneakers with a removable insole. The 3/4 version fits shoes with less room and adds a 2-degree heel post for kids with flat feet who need more heel control.
Should my child see a podiatrist?
If your child has ongoing foot, heel or leg pain, limps, or tires much faster than other kids, have a pediatrician or podiatrist take a look.
How long do PowerStep insoles last?
PowerStep says 6 months or longer with normal use. Daily wear, running or heavy work shortens that – replace them when the cushioning feels flat, the arch feels softer, or your pain returns.
Can I use my HSA or FSA card?
Yes – PowerStep lists this insole as HSA/FSA eligible.
