Description
The Pinnacle Wool pairs PowerStep’s neutral arch support with a wool-blend top cover that insulates, wicks moisture and helps regulate temperature – warm in winter boots and comfortable year-round.
Underneath are the Pinnacle’s firm but flexible arch shell, deep heel cradle and two layers of cushioning for stability on snow, trails and job sites.
Who It’s For
- Winter boots and cold weather
- Feet that run cold
- Medium arches
What It Helps With
Feet with a normal arch roll slightly inward with every step (pronation). When that inward roll goes a little too far, it puts extra strain on the foot and the joints above it. PowerStep designed this insole to help relieve and prevent pain linked to mild to moderate pronation, including:
- Plantar fasciitis (heel and arch pain)
- Heel spurs
- Achilles tendonitis
- Arch pain and tired, aching feet
- Shin splints
- Ankle, knee, hip and lower-back pain
- Bunions
- Hammer toes and claw toes
- Calluses and corns
Persistent or severe foot pain should be checked by a podiatrist or physician. If you have diabetes, neuropathy or poor circulation, ask your doctor before using any orthotic insole.

How to Choose Your Size
Choose the size whose range includes your US shoe size – each option shows the men’s and women’s sizes it fits. Take out your shoe’s factory insole, then slide the PowerStep insole in and push it all the way back to the heel.
Care & Replacement
Spot clean with a mild detergent, do not submerge in water, and air dry. PowerStep advises that insoles typically last 6 months or longer depending on how often and how hard they are worn – replace them when the cushioning flattens or your discomfort returns.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will the wool make my feet too hot in summer?
Wool regulates temperature and wicks moisture, so it is comfortable year-round, but it is especially popular in winter boots.
Can I wash them?
Spot clean only with mild detergent and air dry – do not soak them.
How long do PowerStep insoles last?
PowerStep says 6 months or longer with normal use. Daily wear, running or heavy work shortens that – replace them when the cushioning feels flat, the arch feels softer, or your pain returns.
Can I use my HSA or FSA card?
Yes – PowerStep lists this insole as HSA/FSA eligible.
