Description
A standard insole in a wide shoe leaves gaps at the sides and lets the foot slide off the support. The Pinnacle Wide Fit is shaped wider through the forefoot and arch, so it fills extra-wide and therapeutic shoes properly.
It offers firm neutral arch support with a deep heel cradle and dual-layer cushioning – the same Pinnacle formula, built for wide feet.
Who It’s For
- Wide feet (3E–6E)
- Extra-wide and therapeutic / extra-depth shoes
- Arch and heel pain in wide feet
- Swelling that requires roomier footwear
What It Helps With
Feet with a normal arch roll slightly inward with every step (pronation). When that inward roll goes a little too far, it puts extra strain on the foot and the joints above it. PowerStep designed this insole to help relieve and prevent pain linked to mild to moderate pronation, including:
- Plantar fasciitis (heel and arch pain)
- Heel spurs
- Achilles tendonitis
- Arch pain and tired, aching feet
- Shin splints
- Ankle, knee, hip and lower-back pain
- Bunions
- Hammer toes and claw toes
- Calluses and corns
Persistent or severe foot pain should be checked by a podiatrist or physician. If you have diabetes, neuropathy or poor circulation, ask your doctor before using any orthotic insole.

How to Choose Your Size
Choose the size whose range includes your US shoe size – each option shows the men’s and women’s sizes it fits. Take out your shoe’s factory insole, then slide the PowerStep insole in and push it all the way back to the heel.
Care & Replacement
Spot clean with a mild detergent, do not submerge in water, and air dry. PowerStep advises that insoles typically last 6 months or longer depending on how often and how hard they are worn – replace them when the cushioning flattens or your discomfort returns.
Frequently Asked Questions
What shoe widths does the Pinnacle Wide Fit fit?
PowerStep makes it for 3E to 6E widths. For widths up to 2E, the standard Pinnacle is the better fit.
Is the support the same as the regular Pinnacle?
Yes – same arch shape and heel cradle, on a wider base.
Will it fit in extra-depth or diabetic shoes?
It is designed for wide and therapeutic shoes with removable insoles. If you wear prescribed diabetic footwear, check with your podiatrist before changing inserts.
How long does it take to get used to them?
Most people adjust within 1 to 3 days. Wear them for a few hours the first day and add time each day. Mild awareness of the arch at first is normal; sharp pain is not – stop and ask us or your podiatrist.
How long do PowerStep insoles last?
PowerStep says 6 months or longer with normal use. Daily wear, running or heavy work shortens that – replace them when the cushioning feels flat, the arch feels softer, or your pain returns.
Can I use my HSA or FSA card?
Yes – PowerStep lists this insole as HSA/FSA eligible.
