PowerStep Pinnacle Orthotic Insoles – Neutral Arch Support

$54.95

PowerStep’s best-selling full-length orthotic. The Pinnacle combines a semi-rigid neutral arch shell and deep heel cradle with two layers of cushioning – a go-to choice for plantar fasciitis, heel pain and everyday arch support in walking, work and casual shoes.

Description

If you have been told you need an arch support, the Pinnacle is usually the best place to start. It is PowerStep’s flagship insole: a firm-but-flexible neutral arch shell that holds its shape, a deep heel cradle that keeps the heel centered, and two layers of cushioning so it is comfortable from the first day. It replaces the factory insole in most sneakers, walking shoes and work shoes.

The Pinnacle is designed for people with a normal (medium) arch whose feet roll inward mildly to moderately when they walk – the pattern most often linked to plantar fasciitis, heel spurs and tired, aching arches. If your arch is very flat or very high, compare the Pinnacle Maxx, Pinnacle Low or Pinnacle High.

Who It’s For

  • Plantar fasciitis and heel pain
  • Arch pain and tired, aching feet
  • Mild to moderate pronation (feet rolling inward)
  • Normal / medium arches
  • Walking, work, athletic and casual shoes with removable insoles

What It Helps With

Feet with a normal arch roll slightly inward with every step (pronation). When that inward roll goes a little too far, it puts extra strain on the foot and the joints above it. PowerStep designed this insole to help relieve and prevent pain linked to mild to moderate pronation, including:

  • Plantar fasciitis (heel and arch pain)
  • Heel spurs
  • Achilles tendonitis
  • Arch pain and tired, aching feet
  • Shin splints
  • Ankle, knee, hip and lower-back pain
  • Bunions
  • Hammer toes and claw toes
  • Calluses and corns

Persistent or severe foot pain should be checked by a podiatrist or physician. If you have diabetes, neuropathy or poor circulation, ask your doctor before using any orthotic insole.

Key Features

  • Firm-but-flexible neutral arch shell that holds its shape and guides the foot into better alignment
  • Deep heel cradle that centers and steadies the heel with every step
  • Two layers of cushioning – a soft foam top over a supportive EVA base – for comfort from heel to toe
  • Odor-control top fabric that helps keep feet cooler and drier and reduces friction
  • Accepted by the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA); PowerStep reports it is clinically proven to improve foot function

How to Choose Your Size

Choose the size whose range includes your US shoe size – each option shows the men’s and women’s sizes it fits. Take out your shoe’s factory insole, then slide the PowerStep insole in and push it all the way back to the heel.

Care & Replacement

Spot clean with a mild detergent, do not submerge in water, and air dry. PowerStep advises that insoles typically last 6 months or longer depending on how often and how hard they are worn – replace them when the cushioning flattens or your discomfort returns.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do PowerStep Pinnacle insoles help with plantar fasciitis?

They are designed for it. The arch shell and deep heel cradle reduce strain on the plantar fascia, and PowerStep reports the Pinnacle is accepted by the APMA. Many people get the best results by pairing supportive insoles with daily calf and arch stretches.

Pinnacle or Pinnacle Maxx – which do I need?

The Pinnacle gives moderate support for medium arches. The Pinnacle Maxx has a firmer shell and a 2-degree heel post for people who roll inward more – usually those with flat feet or fallen arches.

Will the Pinnacle fit in my work boots?

Yes, in most work boots, sneakers and walking shoes that have a removable insole and enough room inside.

How long does it take to get used to them?

Most people adjust within 1 to 3 days. Wear them for a few hours the first day and add time each day. Mild awareness of the arch at first is normal; sharp pain is not – stop and ask us or your podiatrist.

How long do PowerStep insoles last?

PowerStep says 6 months or longer with normal use. Daily wear, running or heavy work shortens that – replace them when the cushioning feels flat, the arch feels softer, or your pain returns.

Can I use my HSA or FSA card?

Yes – PowerStep lists this insole as HSA/FSA eligible.
